Our latest addition is a pair of incredible military-inspired, ejection-seat style, Virtual Reality military jet simulators. Step into the world of military aviation and pilot a wide variety of aircraft through various challenges and locations. From the valleys of the Grand Canyon to the skyscrapers of New York City, experience flight from a whole new perspective.

45 Minute Mission

Experience flying a variety of military or civilian aircraft in different global locations. Attempt multiple flying challenges that will test your skills: fly through the valleys of the Grand Canyon, between the snow-capped Austrian Alps on approach into Innsbruck, or fall in love with the night lights in Paris before flying under the Eiffel Tower. Low clouds, poor visibility, or strong crosswind approaches? Bring them on. Then, if you feel up to the task, attempt the world's most dangerous approach into Lukla, Nepal!

What's in a VR Experience?

These state-of-the-art Military VR Simulators are brand new to the Flight Experience group. These units are designed entirely for the Flight Experience shop and feature some awesome gear.

What an Experience looks like:

1. Welcome

Your qualified flight instructor greets you as you enter the location and will ask you if you have any previous flying experience (this just helps us tailor the Experience to you!)

2. Ejection Seat

We'll show you around the simulator and get you seated and harnessed in, this makes the experience much more immersive.

3. Controls and Headset

Your instructor will then talk you through the few controls you'll be using as well as operation of the Oculus Rift S VR headset

4. Take-off

Your instructor will guide you through the take-off procedure and get you acquainted with the basics of flight.

5. Free Flight

Now that you are up in the air, it's time to become familiar with your new military jet. Turn, climb, descend, perform loops, aileron rolls or barrel rolls. The aircraft and the sky is all yours!

6. Locations & Landings

Once you have the basics under control, your instructor will take you to other destinations to put your new skills to the test. Fly through the Grand Canyon or under the Golden Gate Bridge, the choice is yours!

T&Cs

· Group sizes are limited in-line with prevailing government regulations.

· Our recommended minimum age for the Virtual Reality Experience is 13. There is no maximum age.

· Vouchers are valid for 12 months, unless otherwise stated. Expiry dates may be extended depending on the prevailing Covid-19 situation.

· No cancellation or change will be permitted within 24 hours of the booked time for the Flight Experience. In this situation, your Voucher will be cancelled without refund.

· If you do not show up for a Flight Experience and you have not changed the booking at least 24 hours prior to the Flight Experience, your Voucher will be cancelled without refund.

· Refund requests made within 7 days of purchase will incur an admin cost of 20% of the purchase price. Refunds are only available to the purchaser for valid vouchers.
