Unique, fun, and challenging – this kayaking expedition caters to those looking for an adventure that packs a punch. 

Possibly the most exciting and longest pure mangrove kayaking expedition in Singapore, we take you through a total distance of 8.27km with us starting at the north and ending at the south of Pulau Ubin. An “Ubin Bisect” adventure awaits all outdoor enthusiasts and those looking for a good workout!

This is an enriching experience that will open your eyes to the beautiful natural surroundings at Pulau Ubin – accessible only on this adventure. This programme runs infrequently so early booking is advised.


Programme Length: 6 hours

Water Time : 4 hours

Starting Time: Depends on tide conditions.

Booking: As this is not offered as a daily experience given the more extreme areas visited and available tides; advance booking & planning required. 

Pricing: All inclusive & includes GST 

 

Conditions:

  • Minimum 2 adults for programme to operate on the day which will operate in both dry and wet weather.
  • Children must be at least 7 years old to participate, children aged between 7-12 are charged child prices & must be accompanied by an adult at the ratio of 1 Adult : 1 Child. 

What's included: Experienced & Licensed Kayaking Guides (Singapore Canoe Federation) & all necessary equipment - kayaks, paddles & personal floatation devices. Personal Floatation devices must be worn by all participants and for the safety of participants, a mandatory floatation test will be conducted before kayaking.

What's not included: Bum boat transfers to Palau Ubin, personal gear, food & drink. 

What to wear: Shorts, tshirt/rash top, covered shoes mandatory, hat, sunscreen, and mosquito spray.  Be prepared to get wet!

What to bring: 

  • Hat / Cap
  • T-shirt / Rash Guard
  • Shorts / Bermudas / Surf Shorts
  • Covered Footwear (*please note that barefoot, sandals and slippers are not allowed)
  • A Change of Clothes
  • Personal Toiletries and Towel for freshening up
  • Personal Medications
  • Keepers for eyewear
  • If you wear contact lenses, please do bring a pair of spectacles just in case
  • Sunscreen
  • Snacks - due to the duration of the adventure (6 hours) sustenance & food important; we encourage you to take a packed lunch / snacks.
  • Money for bum boat and drinks/lunch
  • Water Bottle (we recommend to bring at least a 1 litre water bottle) 

*Participants who come with inappropriate footwear will not be allowed to proceed with the program as a standard safety procedure.

Venue: Pulau Ubin, Singapore.  Meet your guide at 34 Pulau Ubin, Singapore 508287. 

Duration: Session takes approximately 5 hours.  Please allow sufficient time to arrive at Palau Ubin Jetty before the experience start time. 

Booking: Please book at least 48 hours in advance to avoid disappointment.

Availability: Courses run regularly throughout the year, with a minimum of two participants.

Numbers: This experience is for 1 person and is conducted in small groups to ensure personalised attention.

Spectators:  Not appropriate for spectators. 

Weather: This experience goes ahead in most conditions, however in the event of bad weather please contact the experience provider. 

Need to know: Participants must be at least 7 years of age. Participants aged 7-12 years must be  accompanied by an adult. Participants 12 years and over are charged at adult prices.
